Manufacturing in Sherman, Texas
We’re building new 300-millimeter semiconductor wafer fabrication plants in Sherman, Texas, that will manufacture millions of analog and embedded processing chips daily that will go into electronics everywhere. Production from the first fab is expected as early as 2025. The potential $30 billion investment includes plans for up to four connected fabs (SM1, SM2, SM3, SM4) that will support our customers' demand for decades to come.
Progress on our new Sherman wafer fabs
We’ve made great progress to build the next era of semiconductor manufacturing in Sherman, Texas. The first new 300mm fab is on track to start production as early as 2025.
