Address your clock and timing system challenges

Reliability improvements that differ from traditional resonator technologies

Our BAW resonators improve traditional resonator technologies, with increased reliability in terms of vibration, shock and mean time between failure (MTBF) and failure in time (FIT) performance, which are priorities in harsh environmental conditions.

Benefits:

  • BAW resonators can maintain a stability of <2ppb/g with no jitter or frequency degradation before, during or after a vibration event.
  • Under a mechanical shock of 1500g, BAW resonators can maintain <0.5ppm frequency deviation and do not experience jitter degradation.
  • BAW resonators have a 0.3 FIT rate or 3.3 billion hours MTBF at 35°C, equivalent to 0.3 failures over 1 billion hours of operation.
