Overview

This reference design uses LM25122 with an output voltage of 5-V and 5-A max output current. The typical input voltage range is from 6 V to 18 V. The design withstands input voltages as low as cold crank 3 V and load dump up to 36 V. Switching frequency FSW has been measured for this individual board at 261 kHz. The additional jumper on the bottom side provides a needed ON and OFF feature.
