Overview

The TPS65219 non-volatile memory (NVM) programming board uses an MSP430F5529 microcontroller (MCU) to enable customer programming of the NVM for the TPS65219 power management IC (PMIC). It also includes power terminals and jumpers for all DC regulator inputs and outputs, as well as test points for common measurements. This programming board features a socket for programming units before soldering down on a prototype board. TPS65219EVM-SKT can be used to program the RHB 5-mm x 5-mm (0.5 mm pitch) package and the TPS65219EVM-RSM can be used to program the RSM 4-mm x 4-mm (0.4 mm package).

Features
  • PMIC non-volatile memory (NVM) programming
  • On-board MSP430 MCU to communicate with the PMIC by I²C
  • Programmable output voltages
  • Programmable power-up and power-down sequencing
  • Programmable multifunction digital pins
