Overview
TIDA-00559 provides a universal analog output (AO) for industrial sensors and transmitters. It is based on a 16-bit DAC and uses a single output. This common output is user-configurable for 0 V to 10 V or for 4 ma to 20 mA. Usage in harsh industrial environments is addressed by a dedicated protection circuitry designed to withstand differential-mode surge pulses up to 1 kV / 40 Ω according to IEC61000-4-5. An isolated digital interface eases board configuration and evaluation.

- Common output pin selectable as voltage or current output:
- 0 V to 10 V (plus 10% over range), min load ≥ 1 kΩ
- 4 mA to 20 mA (0 mA to 24 mA), max load ≤ 320 Ω
- Designed to meet EN 61000-4-5: ±1 kV, 40 Ω, 8/20 μs, DM
- Configuration and evaluation interface: isolated 4-wire SPI
- Power input: 15-V to 35-V reverse polarity protection
