Design files

Overview

This power-supply design describes the optimized power management IC to power the AM62x processors. The application note discusses the TPS65219 power management IC (PMIC) full feature-set powering the AM62 and AM62-Q1 processor and principal peripherals. The power delivery network (PDN) described in this document can be used as a guide for integrating the TPS65219 PMIC into industrial or automotive applications powering the AM62x Sitara processor. An orderable part number comparison table details the configurations of several factory programmed TPS65219 variants that can support different AM62x use cases. Example power maps are also provided to assist the design process.
