Engineering smarter field transmitter and sensors

Establish a fast and reliable connection

Whether wired or wireless, use the next generation of communication standards to connect field transmitters, sensors and actuators with your system or cloud to bring Industry 4.0 to life. Ethernet-APL provides 10Mbps Ethernet and power delivery over a single twisted pair of wires down to the field level and up to 300 times faster than existing communication in the process industry. 10/100/1000 Mbps Single-Pair Ethernet (SPE) and Power over Data Lines (PoDL) provide extended bandwidth for usage in non-hazardous areas. IO-Link can be considered as standard communication for transmitters and sensors on the factory floor. Similarly, our wireless connectivity product portfolio offers a broad selection of available devices.

Reliability for isolating signals, data and power

Field transmitters and sensors are commonly used in extreme environments with high pressure, temperature and more. Furthermore, they face additional electrical voltage differences in GROUND levels leading to ground loops and unwanted noise injection. By isolating circuit blocks electrically from each other these ground loops will be broken. Our digital isolators, isolated power solutions or a combination of both, help to reliably maintain signal integrity and electrical safety to ensure optimal operation under such conditions.
