In this webinar, we will discuss implementations of IGBTs and SiC-FETs in traction systems, high power inverters, and motor drives. In particular, we will identify use cases where SiC-FETs and IGBTs come in handy and when to opt for one over the other. Common design pitfalls will be highlighted, while we will also propose how to take on these potential challenges. To address these topics, we will give examples from some of TI’s reference designs.
