SimpleLink Academy contains several demos and documentation for all wireless connectivity TI LaunchPad™ development kits. Each module walks through examples step by step within our software development kits (SDKs) in order to demonstrate the device's capabilities.

Software

SimpleLink SDKs provide a comprehensive and portable software package for the development of various wireless protocols.

The TI SimpleLink SDK supports a wide variety of Bluetooth profiles and roles with examples that serve as a starting point for your application. TI maintains the SDK consistently in order to remain compliant with and certified to the latest Bluetooth core specification.

Processor and MCU interoperability with TI software supports the latest Wi-Fi connectivity standards including Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). Easily integrable into Linux® and RTOS-based systems, you can connect Internet of Things devices with confidence.

All sample applications in the SDK (HTTP, Message Queuing Telemetry Transport, Matter, provisioning) are supported by multiple IDEs (Code Composer Studio™ software and IAR Embedded Workbench) and operating systems (no OS, TI-RTOS, FreeRTOS).

The TI SimpleLink SDK enables wireless protocols such as Matter, TI 15.4-Stack, Wi-SUN, Amazon Sidewalk and proprietary protocols. Concurrent operation of dynamic multiprotocol supports Bluetooth Low Energy and TI 15.4, Zigbee or proprietary Sub-1 GHz.
