The ADC3664-SP can be
operated using a differential or a single-ended clock input where the single-ended clock
input consumes less power at the expense of performance.
- Differential clock input mode: the clock input must be AC coupled externally.
The ADC3664-SP has an internal DC bias.
- Single-ended clock input mode: this mode is configured either using SPI (D3 and
D0 of 0x0E), or with the CTRL pin. In this mode, there is no internal clock biasing. The
clock input needs to be DC coupled with a common-mode voltage of 0.9V. The unused clock
input should be AC coupled to ground.
