The offset calibration value is a 24-bit value consisting of three 8-bit registers coded in two's-complement format. The offset value is subtracted from the conversion data. Register 0Ch is the most-significant byte, register 0Dh is the middle byte, and register 0Eh is the least-significant byte. If the ADC is programmed to provide 16-bit resolution, the least-significant offset byte provides sub-LSB offset accuracy. Table 7-13 shows example offset calibration values.
