8.5.3.4 SYNC: Synchronize Command

The SYNC command synchronizes the ADC. Synchronization occurs at the eighth bit of the SYNC command byte. When synchronized, the current conversion is stopped and restarted. In order to synchronize multiple ADCs by software command, send the command simultaneously to all devices. The SYNC pin must be high when using the command. See the Section 8.4.4 section for details of synchronization.
