The AMC3302 offers a fully integrated isolated DC/DC converter that includes following components illustrated in the Section 7.2:
The DC/DC converter uses a spread-spectrum clock generation technique to reduce the spectral density of the electromagnetic radiation. The resonator frequency is synchronized to the operation of the ΔΣ modulator to minimize the interference with data transmission and support the high analog performance of the device.
The architecture of the DC/DC converter is optimized to drive the high-side circuitry of the AMC3302 and can source up to IH of additional DC current for an optional auxiliary circuit such as an active filter, preamplifier, or comparator. IH is specified in the Section 6.9 table as a DC, non-switching current.
