7.3.8.4 System Overvoltage Protection

The system overvoltage protection is to prevent the SYS from overshooting to a high voltage due to the input supply. The SYS_OVP will momentarily disconnect the blocking FETs and re-engage when the thresholds have dropped to less than SYS_OVP_FALLING threshold.

The SYS_OVP_RISING threshold is typically 120% of the target SYS voltage and the SYS_OVP_FALLING threshold is 117% of the target SYS voltage.
