SLUSDJ8A April 2020 – April 2021 BQ25170
PRODUCTION DATA
A typical application consists of the device configured as a standalone battery charger for single-cell Lithium-Ion, Li-Polymer, or LiFePO4 chemistries. The charge voltage and number of cells is configured using a pull-down resistor on the VSET pin. The charge current is configured using a pull-down resistor on the ISET pin. A battery thermistor may be connected to the TS pin to allow the device to monitor battery temperature and control charging. Pulling the TS pin below VTS_ENZ disables the charging function. The charger and input supply status is reported via the STAT and PG pins.
