PRODUCTION DATA
A typical application consists of the device configured as a standalone battery charger for a 1-cell to 6-cell NiMH battery. The charge voltage and number of cells is configured using a pulldown resistor on the VSET pin. The charge current is configured using a pulldown resistor on the ISET pin. A battery thermistor may be connected to the TS pin to allow the device to monitor battery temperature and control charging. Pulling the TS pin below VTS_ENZ disables the charging function. The safety timer is programmable through a pullown resistor on the TMR pin. Faults are indicated through the STAT pin.
