After poor source detection, the device runs input source detection through the PSEL pin. The PSEL pin sets input current limit 0.5 A (HIGH) or 2.4 A (LOW). After input source type detection is completed, the PG pin is asserted to LOW and PG_STAT bit is set to 1 (BQ25619E only).
With I2C, after input source type detection is completed, an INT pulse is asserted to the host. in addition, the following register bits are updated:
The host can over-write the IINDPM register to change the input current limit if needed.
