8.3.3.4 Input Voltage Limit Threshold Setting (VINDPM Threshold)

The BQ25622E supports a wide range of input voltage limit (3.8 V – 16.8 V). Its POR default VINDPM threshold is set at 4.6 V. The BQ25622E also supports dynamic VINDPM tracking, which tracks the battery voltage to ensure a sufficient margin between input and battery voltages for proper operation of the buck converter. This function is enabled via the VINDPM_BAT_TRACK register bit. When enabled, the actual input voltage limit is the higher of the VINDPM register or VINDPM_BAT_TRACK (VBAT + 400-mV typical offset.)
