8.3.5 Multifunction Pins

The BQ40Z80 includes several multifunction pins that firmware uses to implement different functions. Figure 8-1 is a simplified schematic of an example system implementation that uses a 6-series pack with PRECHARGE mode, six LEDs, two thermistors, and system-present functionality.
