8.4.1.2 FAULT Mode

If any configured protection fault is detected, the device enters the FAULT mode. In this mode, the CHG and/or DSG driver can be turned off depending on the fault. Refer to the fault response summary, Section 8.4.1.2, for detail. When one of the FET drivers (either CHG or DSG) is turned off, while the other FET driver is still on, the state comparator is activated for FET body diode protection.
