Description

The DLPA300 device is a micromirror driver for the DLP 9-μm pixel, high-efficiency digital micromirror devices (DMDs), which include the DLP780NE, DLP780TE, DLP800RE, DLP781NE, DLP781TE, DLP801RE, and DLP801XE DMDs. A part of these DMD chipsets, the DLPA300 micromirror driver generates the VOFFSET and VBIAS voltages. It also switches VOFFSET, VBIAS, and an externally generated VRESET to create the micromirror clocking pulses for the DLP DMDs. Either the TI DLPC4420 or DLPC4430 display controller manages the timing of this waveform.
