7.3.2.6 Illumination Monitoring

The device continuously monitors the illumination block for system failures to prevent damage to the system and the LEDs. The device protects from a broken control loop and a too high or too low output voltage VLED. Register 0x0C (ILLUM_FAULT) controls the overall illumination fault bit. If the device report either ILLUM_BC1_PG_FAULT (powergood) or ILLUM_BC1_OV_FAULT (overvoltage), make sure the ILLUM_FAULT bit is not set too high:
