Shutdown

The DRV110 turns off the gate driver in undervoltage lockout (VIN < 4.6 V) or thermal shutdown (TJ> 160°C). If temperature shutdown is activated, the DRV110 resumes operation when the junction temperature is below 140°C. The shutdown conditions are expressed by the STATUS pin going to the high-impedance state. A pullup resistor can be connected to the STATUS pin so these conditions may be observed by a microcontroller. Table 2 provides an explanation of this operation.
