PRODUCTION DATA
A MOSFET overcurrent event is sensed by monitoring the current flowing through FETs. If the current across a FET exceeds the IOCP threshold for longer than the tOCP deglitch time, an OCP event is recognized and the output enters a latched shutdown state. The IOCP threshold is set via OCP/SR pin, and the tOCP_DEG is 0.6µs.
After an OCP event in this mode, all MOSFETs are disabled and the FAULTZ pin is driven low. Normal driver operation starts again and the FAULTZ pin is released when the OCP condition is cleared. Clear the OCP condition by toggling the RESETZ pin for the reset pulse (tRST).
