Feature Description

Table 6-1 lists the recommended values of the external components for the driver.

Table 6-1 DRV2911-Q1 External Components
COMPONENTSPIN 1PIN 2RECOMMENDED
CPVDD1PVDDPGNDX5R or X7R, 0.1-µF, TI recommends a capacitor voltage rating at least twice the normal operating voltage of the device
CPVDD2PVDDPGND≥ 10-µF, TI recommends a capacitor voltage rating at least twice the normal operating voltage of the device
CCPCPPVDDX5R or X7R, 16-V, 1-µF
CFLYCPHCPLX5R or X7R, 47-nF, TI recommends a capacitor voltage rating at least twice the normal operating voltage
CAVDDAVDDAGNDX5R or X7R, 1-µF, ≥ 6.3-V. In order for AVDD to accurately regulate output voltage, capacitor should have effective capacitance between 0.7-µF to 1.3-µF at 3.3-V across operating temperature.
CVREFVREFAGNDX5R or X7R, 0.1-μF, 6.3-V capacitor
RFAULTZAVDDFAULTZ5.1-kΩ, Pullup resistor
RBIASRBIASAVDD47 kΩ, bias resistor
RSLEWSLEWAGND or AVDDSlew rate hardware interface
ROCPOCPAGNDOCP hardware interface
Note: TI recommends connecting the pull-up on FAULTZ even if it is not used to avoid undesirable entry into internal test mode. If an external supply is used to pull up FAULTZ, ensure that it is pulled to >2.2V on power up or the device will enter internal test mode.
