8.2.2.3 Decay Modes

The DRV8424/25 device supports six different decay modes, as shown in Table 7-7. When a motor winding current has hit the current chopping threshold (ITRIP), the DRV8424/25 places the winding in one of the six decay modes for tOFF. After tOFF, a new drive phase starts.
