7.3.8.4.2 Load Connected to VM

For detection of the VM connected load, a constant current source pull-down the OUT1 node as shown in Figure 7-21. This allows the current to flow from VM to OUT1 depending upon the value of load resistor (RL) connected between OUT1 and VM. Higher current (not open load) will allow the OL1_LS comparator to set and higher current resets the comparator output as shown in Table 7-10 for open load detection.
