8.2.2.2.2 Current Regulation

The trip current (ITRIP) is the maximum current driven through either winding. Because the peak current (start current) of the motor is 900 mA, the ITRIP current level is selected to be just greater than the peak current. The selected ITRIP value for this example is 1.2 A. Therefore, use Equation 7 to select the value of the sense resistors (RSENSE12 and RSENSE34) connected to the ISEN12 and ISEN34 pins.
