The trip current (ITRIP) is the maximum current driven through either winding. The amount of this current depends on the sense resistor value (RSENSExx) as shown in Equation 4 (Considering torque setting (TRQ) as 100%).
The ITRIP current is set by a comparator which compares the voltage across the RSENSExx resistor to a reference voltage. To avoid saturation of the motor, the ITRIP current must be calculated as shown in Equation 5.

For an ITRIP value of 350 mA, the value of the sense resistor (RSENSExx) is calculated as shown in Equation 6.
Select the closest available value of 440 mΩ for the sense resistors. Selecting this value will effect the current accuracy by 2.8%.
