After the current is enabled (start of drive phase) in an H-bridge, the current sense comparator is ignored for a period of time (tBLANK) before enabling the current-sense circuitry. The blanking time also sets the minimum drive time of the PWM. When the device goes into a drive phase at the end of a slow-decay phase, the blanking time is roughly 500 ns. If the device goes into drive phase at the end of a fast-decay phase, the approximate blanking time is as shown in the following table -
