PRODUCTION DATA.
If the die temperature exceeds the trip point of the thermal shutdown limit (TOTSD), all half-bridge drivers are disabled, the charge pump is shut down, and the nFAULT pin is driven low. In addition, the OTSD bit is latched high in IC status (IC_STAT) register. Normal operation resumes (driver operation and the nFAULT pin is released) when the overtemperature shutdown condition is removed and die temperature decreases below the hysteresis point of the thermal warning (TOTSD_HYS). The OTSD bit remains latched high indicating that a thermal event occurred until a clear fault command is issued through the CLR_FLT bit. This protection feature cannot be disabled.
