Dead Battery

During Dead battery mode VDD5 is not available. CC pins always default to pull down resistors in dead battery mode. Dead battery mode to means:

  • HD3SS3220 in UFP with 5.1 kΩ ±20% R(d); cable connected and providing charge.
  • HD3SS3220 in UFP with 5.1 kΩ ±20% R(d); nothing connected (application could be off or have a discharged battery)
