Low Voltage Supply and Wide Common-Mode Voltage Range

The supply voltage range of the INA234 is 1.7 V to 5.5 V. The ability to operate at 1.7 V enables the device to be used in 1.8-V supply rails. Even with a supply voltage of 1.7 V, the device can monitor currents on voltage rails as high as 28 V. This wide common-mode range of operation allows the device to be used in many applications where the common-mode voltage exceeds the supply voltage rail.
