8.2.1 System Sensing Functionality

Inductive sensing provides a wide range of system advantages that no other technology can provide - contact-less measurement, resistance to dirt/dust/water, immunity to external magnets, remote sensor positioning, inexpensive and robust sensors, and extremely high resolution measurement of relative movement.
