7.4.1 Shutdown Pin Operation

The device is turned off by pulling the shutdown pin low. If this function is not going to be used, tie the pin directly to VIN. If the SHDN function is needed, a pullup resistor must be used to VIN (approximately 50 k to 100 kΩ recommended). The SHDN pin must not be left unterminated.
