UVLO Resistors

UVLO resistors RUV1 and RUV2 set the undervoltage lockout threshold and hysteresis according to Equation 33 and Equation 34.

Equation 33. GUID-EDF67ACA-D879-4F7F-91C9-3EAF9404FAD5-low.gif

where

  • IHYS = 20 μA, typical
Equation 34. GUID-791A48A8-B14D-4C5E-9F7F-31D8E90F1002-low.gif

For a UVLO hysteresis of 2.5 V and UVLO rising threshold of 20 V, Equation 33 and Equation 34 require RUV1 of 8.25 kΩ and RUV2 of 127 kΩ and these values are selected for this design example.
