ADVANCE INFORMATION
The desired start-up voltage and the hysteresis are set by the voltage divider RUVT, RUVB. For this design, the start-up voltage (Vin_on) is set to 8.5V which is 0.5V below Vin_min. UVLO hysteresis voltage is set to 1V. This action results UVLO shutdown voltage (Vin_off) of 7.5V. The values of RUVT, RUVB are calculated as follows:
A standard value of 82.5kΩ is chosen for RUVT.
A standard value of 13.8kΩ is chosen for RUVB.
A 100nF UVLO capacitor (CUVLO) is selected in case Vin drops below Vin_off momentarily during the start-up or during a severe load transient at the low input voltage.
