9.2.1.2.15 VIN Pin Configuration

The VIN pin must always be connected to the HV voltage rail. It is good practice to add a small RC filter to improve the VIN noise immunity, as shown in Figure 9-11. Usually the filter resistor selection is 10 to 20 Ω, and the bypass capacitor is 0.1 µF to 1.0 µF.
