7.2.1.2.6 Peak Current Limit

One purpose of the peak current limit is to protect the power inductor from saturation. Program VIPK such that the peak current limit threshold is 5% greater than Ipeak. According to Equation 12 , one gets:

Select RIPKB = 10kΩ and RIPKT = 30.1kΩ which results in VIPK = 0.873V, corresponding to a nominal peak inductor current limit of 43.6A per channel.
