Charge Pump

The internal charge pump supplies the voltage necessary to drive the gate of the external N-channel MOSFETs. The charge pump is activated once the EN pin voltage is above the specified input high threshold, VEN_IH. If EN pin is pulled low, then the charge pump remains disabled. By enabling and disabling the charge pump, the operating quiescent current of the LM74680 can be optimized as per system requirements.
