10 Power Supply Recommendations

The LM74701-Q1 Ideal Diode Controller is designed for the supply voltage range of 3.2 V ≤ VANODE ≤ 65 V. If the input supply is located more than a few inches from the device, TI recommends an input ceramic bypass capacitor higher than 100 nF placed close to ANODE pin to GND. To prevent LM74701-Q1 and surrounding components from damage under the conditions of a direct output short circuit, use a power supply having over load and short circuit protection.
