Component selection for the DABP filter is performed as follows:

1. First choose a center frequency (f_c). Figure 7-9 represents component values that were obtained from the following computation for a center frequency of 1kHz.

   Given that f_c = 1kHz and C _(chosen) = 6.8nF:
   Equation 13. $\mathrm{R}2=\mathrm{R}3=\mathrm{ }\frac{1}{2\mathrm{\pi }\mathrm{ }\times 1\mathrm{k}\mathrm{H}\mathrm{z}\mathrm{ }\times 6.8\mathrm{n}\mathrm{F}}=23.4\mathrm{k}\mathrm{\Omega }$
   A standard value resistor, 23.7kΩ is chosen.
2. Then compute R1 for a desired Q (f_c / BW) as follows:
   Equation 14. $\mathrm{R}1=\mathrm{Q}\times \mathrm{R}2$
   Equation 15. Choosing a Q of 100, the resistor R1 can be computed as follows: $\mathrm{R}1=100\times 23.7\mathrm{k}\mathrm{\Omega }=2.37\mathrm{M}\mathrm{\Omega }$
