8.2.2.2 Output Voltage Set-Point

The output voltage of the LMR514x5-Q1 device is externally adjustable using a resistor divider network. The divider network is comprised of top feedback resistor RFBT and bottom feedback resistor RFBB. Use the following equation to determine the output voltage of the converter:

Equation 8. RFBT=(VOUT-VREF)VREF×RFBB

Choose the value of RFBB to be 19.1kΩ. With the desired output voltage set to 5V and the VREF = 0.8V, the RFBT value can then be calculated using Equation 8. The formula yields to a value 100.28kΩ, a standard value of 100kΩ is selected.
