Buck Over Current Protection

The buck over current event is sensed by monitoring the current flowing through high-side MOSFET of the buck regulator. If the current through the high-side MOSFET exceeds the IBK_OCP threshold), a buck OCP event is recognized and both the high-side and low-side MOSFETs of the buck regulator are disabled. MCF8315C goes into reset state whenever buck OCP event occurs, since the internal circuitry in MCF8315C is powered from the buck regulator output.
