7.3.21.7 Buck Overcurrent Protection

The buck overcurrent event is sensed by monitoring the current flowing through high-side MOSFET of the buck regulator. If the current through the high-side MOSFET exceeds the IBK_OCP threshold for a time longer than the deglitch time (tOCP), a buck OCP event is recognized and the buck regulator MOSFETs are disabled (Hi-Z). MCT8315A goes into reset state whenever buck OCP event occurs, since the internal circuitry in MCT8315A is powered from the buck regulator output.
