The MSP430FR2522 and MSP430FR2512 ultra-low-power MCUs are FRAM-based MCUs with integrated high-performance charge-transfer CapTIvate technology in ultra-low-power high-reliability high-flexibility MCUs. The MSP430FR2522 and MSP430FR2512 MCUs feature up to 8 self-capacitance or 16 mutual-capacitance electrodes, proximity sensing, and high accuracy up to 1-fF detection. The MCUs also include two 16-bit timers, eUSCIs that support UART, SPI, and I2C, a hardware multiplier, an RTC module, and a high-performance 10-bit ADC.
