9.12.4 Hardware Multiplier (MPY)

The multiplication operation is supported by a dedicated peripheral module. The module performs operations with 32-, 24-, 16-, and 8-bit operands. The module supports signed multiplication, unsigned multiplication, signed multiply-and-accumulate, and unsigned multiply-and-accumulate operations. See Table 9-65 for control and configuration registers.
