SBOSA61B April 2021 – December 2021 OPA3S2859-EP
PRODUCTION DATA
The OPA3S2859-EP features a power-down mode to conserve power. Connecting the PD pin low disables the amplifier thereby reducing the quiescent current and places the output in a high-impedance state.
PD pin has an internal pull up resistor, if the pin is left floating then the device defaults to an ON state. The PD disable and enable threshold voltages are with reference to the positive supply, as shown in the Electrical Characteristics section. If the amplifier is configured with the positive supply at 5 V and the negative supply at ground, then the disable and enable threshold voltages are 3.5 V and 4.2 V, respectively. If the amplifier is configured with ±2.5 V supplies, then the threshold voltages are at 1 V and 1.7 V.
