Device Functional Modes

The REF1112 device is a fixed output voltage part where the feedback is internal. Therefore, the part can only operate in a closed-loop mode and the output voltage cannot be adjusted. The output voltage remains in regulation as long as IREF is between IREFMIN (see Electrical Characteristics) and IREFMAX is 5mA. A proper selection of the external resistor for input voltage range and load current range maintains that these conditions are met.
