9.3.1.2.1 Termination

There is an internal pullup resistor with a serial diode structure from LIN to VSUP, so no external pullup components are required for LIN responder mode applications. An external pullup resistor (1 kΩ) and a series diode to VSUP must be added when the device is used for commander node applications per the LIN specification.
